This is a “flashback” caption, so I think the idea was the in the early days, they may not have standardized yet. Perhaps you could specify any length you wanted. Normally, I’d say 10 years is the maximum, it’s been mentioned in a few captions. But that’s not necessarily, universal, e.g. some states might allow only 5, conceivably some allow longer in special circumstances or what have you.

Fifteen years?! That’s the longest permanude term I’ve ever seen here.
But I think it’s fair. Most people live in even longer permaclothed terms, don’t they? That’s what it looks like to a permanude anyway.
