    • Although I have not explicitly stated it in any submission yet, I have long assumed a specific technological solution. Implanted RFID chips are currently used as a security option in some firms, allowing the employees who accept them to dispense with security cards. I assumed that one or more credit card companies would offer such a chip as a replacement for the physical credit card, thus allowing the permanude to make financial transactions without the need to carry money or cards.

Such a chip could also replace house and car keys, eliminating those, although these locks could just use currently common biometrics.

For security, possibly the chip would not broadcast unless pressure was placed on it, either by pressing the wrist (assuming this is where the chip is) against the reader, or pressing it with the other hand.
